Successful recovery

Sarn was contacted by Jack (name changed), who had just over $20,000 in his Exodus wallet. Jack had been using his Exodus wallet regularly for transactions and storing his cryptocurrency assets. However, he encountered a major issue when he accidentally uninstalled the Exodus wallet from his device.

In a panic, Jack reinstalled the Exodus wallet, only to realize that he had not backed up his seed phrase. Traditionally, without a seed phrase, the assets in the wallet would be lost forever, leaving Jack devastated at the potential loss of his substantial investment.

Fortunately, Jack reached out to us for help. Understanding the urgency and complexity of the situation, we immediately began exploring potential recovery options. Through our expertise and knowledge of the industry, we discovered a backdoor method that could potentially recover Jack’s wallet.

After carefully executing the recovery process, we were able to successfully retrieve Jack’s wallet and restore access to his $20,000 worth of cryptocurrency. Jack was immensely relieved and grateful for our assistance, knowing that without our intervention, his assets would have been lost for good.

Successful recovery

Sarn was contacted by Steve (name changed), who had just over $18,000 worth of ETH in his Ledger hardware wallet.

Steve had linked his Ledger to Metamask, using Metamask as the front-end user interface to manage his ETH stored on the Ledger. Almost two years had passed since Steve set this up, and when he plugged in his Ledger, he could see his ETH. However, when he attempted to send it out of the Ledger wallet, he received an error message indicating he had the wrong Ledger wallet, and therefore the wrong key to access the ETH.

Anxious and desperate to regain access to his funds, Steve used his seed phrase to factory-reset his Ledger and recover his wallet. Although the ETH reappeared in Metamask, he still couldn’t move it.

For over eight months, Steve tried various methods to access his ETH but had no success.

Eventually, Steve contacted us for assistance. Leveraging our extensive knowledge and expertise, we were able to recover access to his ETH, restoring his ability to manage his cryptocurrency securely. Steve was immensely relieved and grateful for our intervention, knowing that without our help, his funds might have remained inaccessible.

Unrecoverable

Amy (name changed) contacted us saying she was having issues withdrawing crypto that she had invested in an offshore trading company that initially contacted her over the phone.

After further investigation, we discovered that Amy had sent the crypto to the trading company via their website. Unfortunately, this meant that Amy no longer owned the crypto as she had transferred it to a company she had trusted. We also uncovered that Amy had been duped and that this company was most likely a sophisticated scam.

In this situation, her crypto was unrecoverable.

We explained to Amy that crypto sent to someone else is no longer recoverable unless the recipient decides to return the assets. Despite the unfortunate outcome, Amy appreciated our thorough investigation and clear explanation of the situation.
